Welcome to IW:LEARN's New Technical Specialist
At the beginning of July, Jean Jordaan joined the IW:LEARN project as Technical Specialist at IW:LEARN's Bangkok office. Besides keeping an eye on system administration issues, Jean is providing support for IW:LEARN's Plone-based webhosting infrastructure.
Jean has been involved with the Plone community from the outset. While working at Upfront Systems in Cape Town, South Africa, he helped deliver numerous client projects, served as technical editor of Plone Live (published by Sourcebeat) and provided training to both developers and end-users internationally. Since 2005, he has done consulting and training work for UNEP in Nairobi on a project basis. After a break from Plone development to focus on technical authoring using a DocBook XML toolchain, he is pleased to be back.
