>drinking water and sanitation challenge. Water Advocates is seeking a
>full/time part/time paid intern (pref. senior or grad student) to assist
>with a wide range of projects that support our advocacy, lobbying and
>research efforts.

>Duties and responsibilities:

> Assist in the development and execution of outreach plans and events
>that support our objectives.

> Research corporations, private foundations, U.S. government, civic
>and
>faith-based organizations to determine their interest in the global safe
>drinking water issue. Research US non-governmental organizations and
>maintain database.

> Research publications and journalists; monitor/clip media; maintain

>expand the media library; contribute to monthly newsletters, and media
>outreach.

> Administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

>The position requires eagerness to participate in staff discussions,
>ability to take direction and constructive criticism, and ability to think
>and digest information quickly. Intern will assist Water Advocates four
>staff members as needed, and will ideally have a knowledge and
