Project document for nile river basin 2
The objective of the project is to protect critical Nile Basin ecosystems from transboundary threats through the provision of a strategic environmental framework and the engagement of stakeholders according to the principles of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). The project will improve understanding of the relationship between water resources development and the environment in the Basin, and will provide a forum to discuss development paths for the Nile with a wide range of stakeholders.
