Short-Term International Consultancy – Transboundary Water Management Specialist (Prespa Region, FYR Macedonia)
The consultant will conduct a rapid situational analysis of the current state of water management practices, the status of the enabling environment and develop and a clear and concise Terms of Reference and implementation plan for the proposed Prespa Working Group on Water Management (PWGWM). Policy Programme Officer (WWF)

Senior Policy Officer/Campaigner (WWF- Danube Carpathian Programme)
Based in Vienna, the Senior Policy Officer/Campaigner will continue WWF’s successful lobby work on integrated river basin management with the International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR), with national governments in the Danube river basin, as well as vis-à-vis EU institutions. S/he will be in charge to develop a vision and take the strategic leadership for future policy/campaign work along the Danube, focusing on the successful implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive, climate change adaptation, floodplain/wetland restoration, inland navigation, protection of Danube sturgeon, and water stewardship programmes. Fellows (Nippon Foundation of Japan Fellowship Programme)
The main objective of the fellowship is to provide opportunities for advanced education and training in the field of ocean affairs and the law of the sea, and related disciplines including marine science, to Government officials and other mid-level professionals from developing coastal States, so that they may obtain the necessary knowledge to assist their countries to formulate comprehensive ocean policy and to implement the legal regime set out in UNCLOS and related instruments. Junior Network Officer/Programme Administrator (Global Water Partnership)

Community Liaison Consultant (WWF)
The major duty is to liaise with recipient community (fishing community), the GEF-UNDP Project management Unit (PMU), private businesses, mass organizations, Con Dao National Park (CDNP), Community Consultative Group (CCG), Department of Fisheries and other district agencies in implementing the Alternative Income Generation (AIG) projects and livelihood support programmes identified in the Con Dao MPA Livelihoods Strategy. Technical Adviser: Environment
The TA Environment will work through the LTA in close liaison with the National Agencies and the Inter-ministerial Committees to ensure the effective implementation of the UNDP/GEF project. The TA Environment will provide the senior technical expertise and leadership for the Program stakeholders in Land and Water protection components of the Lake Tanganyika Integrated Management Program. Task Manager, International Waters (UNEP)
The position is located at the UNEP Division of Global Environment Facility (GEF) at the Bangkok duty station. Working under the guidance of the Senior Programme Officer - International Waters, the Task Manager will be responsible for International Waters projects approved with GEF funding and being executed by external agencies and UNEP internal divisions. He/she is expected to cover a portfolio of projects that are relatively complex, and are of strategic importance, thus requiring strong project management skills, as well as strong technical expertise.
