OBJECTIVES
Provide a platform for experts in the fields of coastal engineering, oceanography, geology, geography, marine biology, coastal management, planning and water sport enthusiasts:
- To report on and share experience in the design, planning, economics construction and monitoring of multi-purpose reefs and submerged structures for coastal protection and amenity enhancement.
- To incorporate related and relevant research, such as advances in the fields of surfing science, preservation and destruction of natural reefs, biology of natural reefs, new surfing reefs and surfing pools.
- To identify future research priorities and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.
