Workshop: Reinforcement of the capacities for the improvement of the productivity of water on the level of the farms with AquaCrop

FAO recently produced a software (AquaCrop) for the simulation of the response of the cultures to the availability D ’ water. Focusing on the water resource is justified by the fact that L ’ water is the factor which limits more the agricultural production. AquaCrop uses a limited number of parameters, which are explicit and intuitive, aiming at combining simplicity, precision, and reliability.
