How do I transfer a large file

I want to transfer a large file to a colleague? It bounces when attached to an e-mail message because file size is too large. Is there a way to easily send this file ?

http://www.yousendit.com is a free service that allows anyone to send a large file to another person. The service lets you upload your file to a server and then sends the recepient an email notification with a link to the file which can then be downloaded onto the recepient's machine.
