[ABNJ Tuna and Biodiversity] Sixth Project Steering Committee: Sustainable Management of Tuna Fisheries and Biodiversity Conservation in the ABNJ Report

The sixth meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of the Common Oceans ABNJ Tuna Project was held in FAO Headquarters in Rome from 08-10 July 2019. A total of 47 participants attended the meeting. The list of participants is provided in Annex I. Árni Mathiesen, Assistant Director General, Fisheries and Aquaculture Department, FAO welcomed participants and underlined the influence the Common Oceans ABNJ Tuna Project and the Common Oceans ABNJ Program had on the work of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department since their inception. He highlighted the opportunities for follow-up work under a potential second phase of the Program and assured PSC members of the support of the Senior Management of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department (Published in 2019).
