Organisational gender mainstreaming in Benguela Current Convention: A process case study

As a regionally representative body the Benguela Current Convention (BCC) is in a unique position to promote gender equality in the governance of the Benguela Large Marine Ecosystem (BLME). The objective of the process was to build BCCs frameworks, approaches and human capacity to better promote gender equality in ocean governance. This document highlights the four step process i.e. Gender Situational Analysis, Gender Policy Development, Gender Action Plan, and Supporting Implementation.
