PEMSEA newsletter Vol. IV Issue No.05 (May 2003)

The Sihanoukville Declaration for Sustainable Coastal Development was formally presented and approved by stakeholders in a declaration ceremony held on 5 June during the World Environment Day celebration at Independence Beach of Sihanoukville. More than 1,000 representatives from local and national government agencies, international organizations, the private sector, and local communities witnessed the signing ceremony, which signified the stakeholders' concern for the environment.
