The East Asian Seas Congress 2006 promises to be a dynamic and important forum on coastal and ocean sustainability as preparations are being made to address key issues affecting the region's seas. The Congress will be held on December 12-16, 2006 in Haikou City, Hainan Province, PR China and will bring together high-level policymakers, experts and various stakeholders for capacity-building activities, knowledge exchange, strategic action and cooperation for the benefit of the Seas of East Asia.
