Preparations for this year’s World Ocean Week (WOW) are underway as key organizers met last 28-30 January in Xiamen, PR China, to discuss the event’s activities. The Xiamen Municipal Government, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) and PEMSEA are jointly organizing WOW 2007, an annual event in Xiamen.
