Public Participation in the Strategic Action Program (SAP) for the Binational Basin of the Bermejo River
This Report summarizes the public participation mechanisms utilized in the formulation of the strategic Action Program for the Binational basin of the Bermejo River (SAP-Bermejo) that was conducted during the period 1997-2000. It outlines the major activities that were conducted to ensure the active participation of basin communities, local, regional and national authorities, academia, and NGOs into the preparation of the SAP.
