Sharing Lessons Learned in Sustainable Coastal Development

The three-day event was organized by PEMSEA and hosted by Xiamen Municipal Government of China last September 20 - 23, 2002. On its first day, the Second Forum of Regional Network of Local Governments Implementing Integrated Coastal Management (ICM) was held while a Seminar on Leadership in Ocean and Coastal Governance, was conducted on the second day. An ICM Study Tour was organized for participants on the third day in order to them to witness the impacts of the ICM program being implemented in Xiamen.
