Appraisal of the Safety of the Tiga and Challawa Gorge Dams, Nigeria

This appraisal documentation of Tiga and the Challawa Gorge dams is one of the environmental and social components of project “The Reversal of Land and Water Degradation Trends in the Lake Chad Basin”. The said Project aims to address the river regulation effected by the operation of the two dams which has resulted in a reduction of the flood peaks in the Hadeija.
