SESSION IV. INDICATORS, RESULTS FRAMEWORKS & RESULTS-BASED APPROACHES
Objectives:
- Present alternative indicator-sets from outside the GEF International waters focal area
- Assess the use of existing indicators to monitor and report on the state of various types of freshwater and marine ecosystems in a coordinated way as well as review the methods used that communicate project results to key stakeholders such as decision-makers, local communities and the general public e.g. visualization tools, case studies, technical reports etc.
- Identify effective indicator set(s) to monitor the implementation of strategic action programs
- Discuss project vs. program type indicators, including longer-term impact indicators
