Project Objective: Support a participatory process for the sustainable management and protection of Egyptian coastal zones through the adoption of a strategic framework and implementation of immediate small-scale investments to reduce the load of land-based sources of pollution entering the Mediterranean Sea in the “hot spots” of El-Mex Bay & Alexandria including Lake Mariout.
