Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA)

The Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA) is a public research center, a government institution, devoted to facing the national and regional challenges associated with water management and creating new approaches in technological research and development for the protection of water resources and their efficient and fair allocation among different users. More than 300 highly trained specialists, with integrated and multidisciplinary approach, many of them with more than 20 years of experience, knowledgeable of the problems besetting the water sector. Its mission is to produce, instill, and disseminate knowledge, technology, and innovation for the sustainable management of water in Mexico.
