Under-secretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Chile (SUBPESCA), Chile
The Undersecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture is an agency of the State, under the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, created under Decree Law No. 1.626, of December 21, 1976. Its institutional mission is to regulate and manage the fishing and aquaculture activity, through policies, standards and administration measures, under a precautionary and ecosystem approach that promotes the conservation and sustainability of hydrobiological resources for the productive development of the sector.
