Lake Titicaca-Poopo System
A film produced by the GEF-UNDP Integrated Water Resources Management Project in the Titicaca-Desaguadero-Poopó-Salar de Coipasa system (GIRH-TDPS). This product presents the world what the TDPS system is and what the Project will do to its advantage. In the TDPS system is the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, shared by Peru and Bolivia and whose water cycle protects the biodiversity of this highland region. The attached video is aboout the TDPS system to the basin and tries to reflect all the feelings and risks that communities, people and local institutions face.
