Bahamas Environment, Science & Technology (BEST)

The Bahamas Environment, Science & Technology (BEST) Commission was established in 1994. The BEST Commission manages the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements and reviews environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental management plans (EMP) for development projects within The Bahamas. As part of the Ministry of Environment and Housing, the BEST Commission works closely with various agencies to achieve the country’s goals of a comprehensive system of environmental management.
