Towards a Convention and Action Programme for the Protection of the Caspian Sea Environment :Project Brief
The project proposed is a key element in support of the CEP in the preliminary implementation of the Strategic Action Programme and continuance of the Convention process. Two major areas of environmental concern are specifically addressed by this Project, these are regional biodiversity including threats from invasive species, and persistent toxic substances.
