The Danube River Basin District

This report responds to reporting obligations of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC (WFD) under Article 5, Annex II and Annex III regarding the first characterization and analysis of the Danube River Basin District. In addition, information is given on progress related to Article 6 and Annex IV for setting up an inventory of protected areas in the river basin district, as well as on progress related to Article 14 regarding public information and consultation.
