This Workshop Report report takes it starting point in a completed in 1999 project ’Environmental Monitoring of Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe 1998-99’; a joint venture between Sweden, Estonia and Russia. The environmental monitoring project was aimed at strengthening the capacity of regional environmental authorities in the Lake Peipsi Basin - Estonian-Russian transboundary region - for quality-assured environmental monitoring and information exchange.
