A global project, encouraging learning, information sharing, collaboration and replication of good practices and experiences in the GEF International Waters portfolio. The project has a strong focus on groundwater and supporting the Middle East and North Africa Development (MENARID) process, and in the replication and sharing of good practices between transboundary surface and groundwater management. IW:LEARN will provide tools and procedures to assist IW projects better achieve their objectives through the provision of improved knowledge management and guidance on mainstreaming climatic variability & change, gender and public-private co-operation in IW projects. Lastly IW:LEARN will facilitate the 6th IW Conference and initiate improved involvement between IW projects and the wider science community through the first IW Science Conference.

Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med)

GWP-Med is the Mediterranean Regional Water Partnership of the inter-governmental organisation Global Water Partnership (GWP). It was launched as the GWP Mediterranean Technical Committee (MEDTAC) in 1999, and was established in its present status in 2002.

United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)

The UN Office for Project Services - UNOPS - manages project resources to help developing nations and countries in transition in their quest for peace, social stability, economic growth and sustainable development.

United Nations University, International Network on Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH)

It was created by the UNU Governing Council in 1996 to strengthen water management capacity, particularly of developing countries, and to provide on-the-ground project support;
